Description

Standard size bails on these quick-release trigger snaps provide ample room for attaching a single line while keeping weight and overall shackle length to a minimum. They are ideal for attaching halyards and sheets.

Trigger snap shackles are designed for applications where the shackle needs to be opened under load – spinnaker sheets and guys, etc. Although they can be opened under light loads using your fingers, they are typically released – especially under high loads – by inserting a fid or spike into the trigger opening.

Tylaska trigger-release snap shackles are designed and optimized using the latest finite element CAD software to provide a previously unavailable standard of strength and quality. Aerospace grade 17-4PH stainless steel construction gives Tylaska trigger snaps the ultimate in high strength-to-low weight ratios.
